Thor Karlsen comes from a small island in Lofoten in Norway, but moved to Berlin in August 2016.

Self taught glass artist Thor Karlsen has been working with flame work and fused glass since 2001 – designing and producing the ultimate luxury in glass art, jewellery and decorative pieces.

Thor’s obsession with glass art first became apparent after being introduced to the flame work technique nearly 16 years ago in Denmark. In 2014 he has studied under the amazing Miriam De Fiore in Italy but he is in every other way self taught.

All his pieces are hand-melted, meaning each item is unique and one of a kind. We are happy to show a small collection of his precious glass jewellery at our gallery.
